Shane Watson played a blistering 96-run knock against Sunrisers Hyderabad to let everyone know why CSK continued to invest in him. The Aussie was struggling to get runs before this game but showed there is still a lot left in him to deliver.
The knock which had 6 sixes and 9 fours also included a bit of spice in it. Watson and SRH spinner Rashid Khan had a staredown. Rashid doesn't want to get hit for runs. The leggie gave Watson a stare after he was smashed for a boundary off his second delivery of the spell.
But it didn't go well for the Afghanistan leg-spinner, he ended up conceding 44 in four overs with the only wicket. These figures aren't normal for a top class bowler like Rashid. It was his worst performance this year, on a track which is known for assisting spinners.
The leggie got smashed for 31 runs in his last two overs. Watson hit him for a couple of sixes and 3 fours. Twitter soon turned the incident into a meme.
