Delhi Capitals (DC) hosted Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in Match 37 of IPL 2019 at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in Delhi. DC skipper, Shreyas Iyer won the toss and elected to bowl first with dew around and expected to get worse as the night went on.

Both teams made several changes to their playing XI, but the surprising common factor was the presence of three spinners in both teams despite the amount of dew present on the ground before the toss.

KXIP scored 163/7 with Chris Gayle top-scoring with a 37-ball 69. He seemed set to make a lot more but Colin Ingram and Akshar Patel pulled off an incredible relay catch on the boundary. Leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane took 3 wickets, while Akshar Patel chipped in with 2 wickets.

DC lost Prithvi Shaw cheaply once again in the chase, but Shikhar Dhawan and Shreyas Iyer batted well to get the side close to the target. Dhawan hit 56 off 41 balls, carrying on his good form in recent games for the Capitals.

But the moment of the innings came in the 13th over, which was bowled by Ravichandran Ashwin. Ashwin, who had infamously 'Mankaded' Jos Buttler earlier in the tournament, was once again awake to the form of dismissal but unlike Buttler, Dhawan was well aware of the situation.

The opener not only stayed within his crease but teased the KXIP skipper with some dance moves. It brought a smile on everyone's face, apart from Ashwin who was probably not too happy at the state of the game his team was in.
