IPL 2019: Match 38, SRH v KKR - Sunrisers bowl first in Hyderabad

KKR have lost their last four matches and SRH defeated CSK in their previous match.

Andre Russell, along with Nitish Rana is the only batsmen clicking for KKR | IANSThe 38th match of the IPL 2019 will see Sunrisers Hyderabad take on Kolkata Knight Riders at the RGIC stadium in Hyderabad, Telangana. KKR in desperate need of a win having lost their last four matches, while SRH has got a big win over table toppers CSK.

The Kolkata Knight Riders are having a tough time deciding what is not working for them. The Karthik-led team is hampered with a bowling unit that has been leaking runs big time and neither spinners nor quick bowlers are doing any favor for the captain. Batting-wise, their middle order is unstable, opening unreliable and Shubman Gill is batting out of position. If they can rectify these things, they can get back on their winning ways.

Warner is leading the SRH batting with Bairstow | IANSSunrisers Hyderabad, on the other hand, has found a win over no.1 ranked CSK after losing few games and their confidence is boosted as they look to confirm their playoffs berth. Their concern is the form of their middle order including Kane Williamson, Yusuf Pathan, and Deepak Hooda. Their misfiring bowling has finally found a positive vibe in the form of Khaleel Ahmed who has livened up the bowling attack with his pace.

This match is important for both teams and given the pitch at the RGIC stadium, runs are on the menu and whichever team’s batting clicks will fancy their chances.
