IPL 2019: Match 38 – SRH v KKR – COC Predicted Playing XIs

SRH is coming off a win against CSK, while KKR have lost their last four matches.

Kane Williamson's form is a concern for SRH | IANSThe 38th match of the Indian Premier League 2019 will be played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders. KKR are on a horrible losing streak while SRH is coming off a win over the no.1 spot CSK.

Sunrisers Hyderabad team have found a new life by beating Chennai Super Kings at home and will definitely look to continue on the winning ways. Their openers David Warner and Jonny Bairstow have been the cornerstones of their success so far, but their bowling has let them down, especially the quick bowlers.

But the inclusion of left-arm pacer Khaleel Ahmed has inserted some life in their attack and with Shahbaz Nadeem and Rashid Khan helming the spin attack, Kolkata might need to pull up their socks.

SRH might look to bring in Siddharth Kaul for Sandeep Sharma, for a change and also give Manish Pandey a chance in place of Deepak Hooda. Their bowling needs to find something to keep Andre Russell at bay and come up with a plan to counter him.

Kuldeep Yadav desperately needs a break after drubbing against RCB | IANSKolkata Knight Riders have been losing games left, right and center and need to stem to losses to keep their chances for the playoffs alive. Their last game against RCB came really close thanks to Rana and Russell, but the balls wasted by the top order proved to be their undoing.

Also came under attack was their star spinner Kuldeep Yadav and KKR team management might rest him and bring Cariappa in for him. Also, as a plan to utilize the Hyderabad pitch properly, KKR might employ their newest recruit, the yorker specialist Matt Kelly.

Both the team are stuck at 8 points and need to win to make sure they don’t fall behind the race for playoffs finish.
