IPL 2019: WATCH – MS Dhoni back in the nets ahead of clash against RCB

MS Dhoni had missed the game against SRH due to back spasms.

MS Dhoni is back in CSK nets | ScreengrabMS Dhoni had missed his first game for Chennai Super Kings since 2010 when CSK faced SRH in their last game. The Suresh Raina-led team was handed their second defeat in the tournament and the fans missed their Thala on the field.

The CSK team management had confirmed that Dhoni was rested due to back spasms he had experienced in the previous match and it was for precautionary measures keeping in mind that Dhoni will also be playing in the upcoming ICC World Cup 2019. Dhoni didn’t want to risk anything and hence decided to rest for a match. Dhoni has so far made 230 runs in 6 innings with 2 half-centuries and the best score of 75* at a strike rate 127.07.

But the Thala fans don’t need to fret on Dhoni’s injury anymore as he was seen hitting big sixes in CSK nets on the eve of their next match against RCB at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Chennai Super Kings’ official Twitter account posted a video of Dhoni in nets with the caption, “Such a fin7sh! #WhistlePodu #Yellove #RCBvCSK ????????”
