Sunrisers Hyderabad will take on Kolkata Knight Riders at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad in their ninth match of this season. Sunrisers have four wins from eight matches while Kolkata has four wins from nine matches.

Sunrisers Hyderabad back to winning ways with an impressive seven wickets win over table toppers Chennai Super Kings in their last match and will look to maintain their winning momentum against a struggling Kolkata side. Sunrisers' strength is their openers and bowling.

Jonny Bairstow and David Warner are giving a good start and they'll look to the job once again. Out of form Kane Williamson and middle order need to step up otherwise it will be tough for Sunrisers to post a big total. In the bowling Bhuvneshwar, Rashid Khan and Khaleel Ahmed all are doing well.

On the other hand, Kolkata Knight Riders have lost their track with four back to back losses and to remain in the race of playoffs they have to win this match at any cost. Right now neither their batting, barring Andre Russell and Nitish Rana nor their bowling is performing.

Openers Chris Lynn and Sunil Narine are inconsistent and Robin Uthappa is also struggling for some quick runs. Shubman Gill is being wasted at number 6 or 7 and in bowling Kuldeep Yadav is completely out of touch. Pacers Hary Gurney, Prasidh Krishna has been disappointing so far.
