IPL 2019: Match 35- KKR v RCB – COC Predicted Playing XIs

KKR is placed at no.6 on points table, whole RCB is snugly on no.8.

Will Andre Russell play or not? | IANSThe 35th match of the IPL 2019 will see Royal Challengers Bangalore travel to Eden Gardens to take on Kolkata Knight Riders. KKR started off well, but have managed to lose four matches out of eight played and are placed at the 6th spot in the points table, while RCB is resting nicely at no.8.

Kolkata Knight Riders have a golden chance to get back into the winning form as they come back home after losing two matches to CSK and one to DC. However, they have been badly hurt by injuries to Andre Russell, given that Dinesh Karthik had also asked him to bowl, on top of carrying their batting as well.

Meanwhile, KKR needs to wean themselves off Russell, as it seems that they need to find someone else to get them to win the matches, or use him as a pure batsman and pick another seamer. They might get in Carlos Brathwaite in for Russell given Brathwaite’s love for Eden Gardens if Russell doesn’t get fit in time.

RCB will get the Dale Steyn boost | GettyRCB, on the other hand, will get a big boost in the form of Dale Steyn, who will be available to play. Since they have practically no chance of making it into the playoffs, though possibilities are still open, they have become a dangerous team to play against. RCB has been let down by their fast bowlers and batsmen who are not named Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers or Moeen Ali.

The match between RCB and KKR is a chance for one team to get their campaign on track and another to make life difficult for their opponents.
