In the 24th match of IPL 12, Mumbai Indians will take on Kings XI Punjab at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai tonight. Mumbai Indians have three wins from five matches and Kings XI Punjab have four wins from six matches.

With two back to back wins Mumbai Indians have gained the momentum and will look to carry it against Kings XI Punjab too. Mumbai Indians have the most balanced team in the tournament but their top order hasn't clicked yet. Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock are failing to convert their starts into big ones. Suryakumar Yadav, Krunal Pandya aren't consistent and Ishan Kishan who played his first match against Sunrisers also looked out of touch. Though Kieron Pollard and Hardik Pandya's form is a big positive for them as both the finishers are doing their job.

In the bowling, Jason Behrendroff, Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya have been good so far and the arrival of Alzarri Joseph who took record six wickets in his debut match has also strengthened them.

On the other hand, Kings XI Punjab is also in good form and have four wins from six matches and one of the wins came against Mumbai Indians and it'll boost their confidence further. KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal are consistent with bat and also played match-winning knocks against Mumbai in the first meeting. Chris Gayle has failed in the last two-three games and he will be eager to play a big knock against Mumbai Indians. Sarfraz Khan and David Miller too have played useful knocks. In the bowling R Ashwin and Mohammad Shami are having a good tournament and they'll hope that Mujeeb ur Rahman, Sam Curran, Ankit Rajpoot or Andrew Tye too will support them.
