IPL 2019: Match 22, KXIP v SRH - KXIP opt to bowl first in Mohali

SRH lost to MI in their last game, while KXIP lost to CSK.

Bairstow and Warner will like the bounce and pace of Mohali pitch | IANSThe 22nd match of the IPL will be played in the PCA IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali, Chandigarh between KXIP and SRH. Both the teams are looking to get back on the winning wagon after suffering defeats at the hands of CSK and MI respectively.

The Sunrisers Hyderabad are badly plagued with a middle order that is one of the weakest in IPL 2019 with likes of Manish Pandey and Deepak Hooda showing their non-preparation against MI when SRH was bowled out for 96, their first score under 100 in their IPL history.

Given the importance of this match against KXIP, who are on the same six points as SRH, but on the sixth spot; SRH needs to bring out their A game against KXIP to defeat them.R Ashwin | IANS This game will also see KXIP trying to forget their game against CSK. They were good against CSK, but much was left to be desired, as, despite KL Rahul and Sarfaraz Khan making half-centuries, KXIP lost the game by a margin of 22 runs chasing 160-odd.

Both the teams will be looking to gain two points and separate themselves from the middle of the pack in the points table.
