Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings are currently locking horns with each other in the 15th match of IPL 2019 at the Wankhede Stadium.
After being put into bat by CSK skipper MS Dhoni, MI lost Quinton de Kock for just 4. Captain Rohit Sharma also failed to impress and got out for 13. However, Suryakumar Yadav held the one end for Mumbai Indians and shared a 62-run stand with Krunal Pandya to steady the sheep.
Following the dismissal of Krunal (42) and Suryakumar (59), it was the swashbuckling cameo of Hardik Pandya that stole the limelight. Hardik along with Kieron Pollard (17 off 7 balls) stitched an unbeaten 45 runs off just 13 balls and accumulated 29 runs in the 20th over off Dwayne Bravo to propel MI to 170/5.
Hardik, who has already played a couple of handy knocks in the previous matches, finished with 25 not out off only 8 deliveries. His innings was laced with 1 four and 3 gigantic sixes.
