IPL 2019: RCB v MI, WATCH – Yuvraj Singh pummels RCB's Yuzvendra Chahal for 3 sixes in three balls

Yuvraj Singh is turning out for MI in IPL 2019.

Yuvraj Singh hit 23 in 12 balls with 3 sixes in 3 balls off Chahal | AFPThe seventh match of the IPL 2019 is seeing Royal Challengers Bangalore hosting Mumbai Indians. Both the teams are looking for their first win in the tournament, with RCB having lost to CSK in the very first match of the tournament and Mumbai losing to Delhi in the third match.

Virat Kohli won the toss and chose to chase on a flat Chinnaswamy stadium wicket and Mumbai got off to a quick start with De Kock making 23 in 20 and Rohit making 48 in 33 balls. Suryakumar Yadav made 38 in 24 balls before Yuzvendra Chahal turned his magic on.

MI saw wickets falling in a heap until Yuvraj Singh decided to do something and he picked Chahal for retribution. Yuvraj turned back the clock to smack Chahal for three sixes in three balls of the 14th over.

The first six came off a short ball, the second one was a full delivery on the off stump, which went over long on and the third six was on a short wrong’un outside off stump which was smacked over long on again.

Though Chahal had his last laugh as Yuvraj was caught brilliantly by Siraj, going for the fourth six and was dismissed for 23 off 12 balls; Yuvraj showed that there is a bit of spark left in him.

Though RCB made a comeback of sorts, Hardik Pandya smashed 32* in 14 balls with 3 sixes and 2 fours, as RCB made 187/8 in 20 overs. Chahal was the best RCB bowler with 4/38.
