Yuzvendra Chahal, the leg-spinner from Haryana, is one of the key bowlers for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2019. He has been with the Bangalore franchise after leaving Mumbai Indians in 2014. Since then, he ha been their leading wicket-taker.

Chahal has played 70 matches in the IPL for RCB. He has managed to take 82 wickets at an average of 23.56. His best figures are 4/25 which came against the Kings XI Punjab in IPL 2017.

For India, Chahal has been equally good with the ball. But, there is an interesting fact about his batting at the international level. He has been India's top scorer in an ODI against New Zealand. In the recently concluded bilateral series against New Zealand, India was bowled out for a paltry 92. Chahal scored 18 runs with 3 boundaries to his name.

Recently, during RCB's practice session, a fan asked Chahal about his preparations for the World Cup. He cheekily said, "I'm just working on my batting, that's it (laughs)"
