Rajasthan Royals will play their first match against Kings XI Punjab on March 25 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. They have also welcomed back their batting stalwart Steve Smith into the fold after he was banned from IPL 2018 due to his involvement in ball tampering scandal in South Africa.

In IPL 2018, Royals had worn pink jersey for one match to raise awareness for breast cancer. "We wore pink for cancer awareness in one match last year and the fans loved it. Then we thought that Jaipur is the pink city and we should be wearing pink," Rajasthan Royals' captain Ajinkya Rahane said during their Halla Bol show.
