There is going to be battle of sixes among the Indian cricketers in this year's Indian Premier League (IPL). Chris Gayle has the most number of sixes in IPL, total of 292 in 111 innings. He is followed by Royal Challengers Bangalore's batsman AB de Villiers, who is way behind him but still jointly holds the number two spot with 186 sixes. 

The race to become first Indian to reach 200 sixes in IPL will be among MS Dhoni (186 sixes), Suresh Raina (185), and Rohit Sharma (184).

Well, you can't count Virat Kohli out, he is also there at number 6 spot with 178 sixes. 

IPL 2019 is starting from March 23. It will be stretched for almost two months. The first game is between defending champions Chennai Super Kings and Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Dhoni will have a good opportunity to go past De Villiers in the list of most number of sixes. Eyes will be on Raina as well. He is known as Mr. IPL and has got runs in almost every season even if he went through a bad phase.
