Hardik Pandya | TwitterThe preparation for the Indian Premier League 2019 is on and every team is holding training camps for their players. These camps are extremely beneficial to players who have been out with an injury or have had a gap of sorts from the game.

Mumbai Indians as well held a training camp at the Wankhede Stadium for their players and Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya was seen bowling and fielding. Pandya was ruled of out the recently concluded limited overs series against Australia after his stiffness in his back. Seeing Pandya bowling and batting was a good sight given his injury last year and then the recurrence of his injury put his participation in the upcoming World Cup in doubt.

During one of the sessions, Hardik was seen trying to emulate the great MS Dhoni by trying to play his trademark helicopter shot. Pandya will be important not only for the Indian team in the World Cup but his time with the Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2019 will give the team management a look at his fitness as well.

A fit and raring Hardik Pandya will lend amazing balance to the team bringing depth to the batting and giving the captain a dependable bowler to take pressure off the regular ones.
