Kings XI Punjab is the latest team to announce their list of players who have been retained and released. The Punjab franchise has let go a total of 11 players including Yuvraj Singh, Akshar Patel, Aaron Finch and others.

Punjab had traded Marcus Stoinis for Mandeep Singh with Royal Challengers Bangalore and retained only 9 players from the 2018 season.

Ravichandran Ashwin, Mujeeb Zadran, Chris Gayle and KL Rahul are some of the big names that will continue to play for KXIP in 2019.

Kings XI Punjad had earlier ended it's association with Virender Sehwag and appointed New Zealand's Mike Hesson as their new head coach. With only 10 players, KXIP is set to purchase at least 8 players in the upcoming auction.
