Mandeep Singh, who has been with the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) side for last four seasons, will have to shift to a new team in the upcoming season. RCB has swapped Mandeep with Australian cricketer Marcus Stoinis. Stoinis was part of Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) last season.

Bangalore has already released Quinton de Kock from the side. De Kock has joined Mumbai Indians. RCB had bought De Kock for Rs 2.8 crore in the IPL 2018 auction held in Bengaluru in January, this year. Mumbai purchased the 25-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman from South Africa at the same price.

Talking about Mandeep, he added just 252 runs in 14 matches. He scored with an average of 25. However, this was his best season for RCB.

It was all 'emo' on Twitter when the news about Mandeep leaving the side broke out. Royal Challengers' official Twitter account gave a Bollywood touch to the moment

Writing a famous dialogue of the film ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, RCB posted, “@mandeeps12 tussi jaa rahe ho… tussi na jao #PlayBold forever." However, they later deleted the tweet.
