IND v WI 2019: "Virat Kohli or MS Dhoni?" Two moments from first T20I when Kohli did a Dhoni

MS Dhoni is currently isn't part of the Team India and he may return next year.

Virat Kohli | TwitterVirat Kohli reminded fans of MS Dhoni during his innings against West Indies in Hyderabad. The first T20I saw Virat scoring an entertaining 94* in the 208-run chase. He also gave fans a glimpse of Dhoni with his leave and a stretch to save his wicket which showed his remarkable fitness.

Fans immediately remembered something similar had happened when Dhoni was batting during the World Cup 2019 semifinal. The 38-year-old's stretch to get into the crease is also famous. Dhoni had survived a close stumping chance during India's clash against Australia earlier this year with his flexibility.

Kohli was finding it tough to score in the first phase of his innings on Friday. He even left a ball which is quite rare with Virat who likes to make every ball count, especially in limited-overs cricket.

When Virat left the ball in 12th over, India needed runs with a rate of 12.69. He would have been criticized, but the recovery was superb.

Before the leave, it was the 'Dhonisque' stretch in 11th over which fans loved watching.
