India and West Indies will play in the second T20I match in the Ekana International Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, which makes its debut in the international arena. It has also been rechristened as Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee International Stadium.

India won a hard-fought victory over West Indies in the first match at Kolkata, as the Windies bowlers blew the top order of Indian batting after Kuldeep Yadav’s 3/13 had blown the Windies for 108 runs in their 20 overs.

The Ekana Stadium curators have prepared sporting pitch for the ground’s bow in international cricket and since the match is being played on the eve of the biggest festival in India, Diwali; the Indian team would like to give the fans and cricket lovers of India all over the world the gift of a win.

Windies, on the other hand, have to rectify their shortcomings in Kolkata, which they themselves highlighted in the post-match analysis. The highlight of their performance was the fast bowling of Oshane Thomas, who hurried the Indian batsmen and got Shikhar Dhawan out for the third time in three matches on the tour.

India will be looking to win the match in a more dominating fashion and win the series as well. Indian batsmen have to tune their approach to the game according to the situation and achieve success.

Overall, the match is supposed to be a tightly fought one, given the Kolkata T20I.
