IND v WI 2018: Watch - Hardik Pandya wishes brother Krunal Pandya all the best for India debut

Krunal Pandya is making his T20I debut today at Eden Gardens.

India and Windies are currently engaged in the first T20I of the three-match series at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. India's stand-in captain, Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to field first keeping the dew factor in mind.

India is fielding two debutants in the match, left-arm fast bowler Khaleel Ahmed and all-rounder Krunal Pandya. Krunal is the brother of Hardik Pandya, who is currently not featuring because of a back injury which he suffered during the Asia Cup in UAE.

Krunal has had to earn his maiden India cap by playing well over a number of seasons for Baroda in domestic cricket, Mumbai Indians in IPL and lately for India A. The debut was always a matter of time as the left-hander has impressed everyone with his talent.

Hardik, who would have loved to be with Krunal on the park on his big night, was delighted after Rohit handed over the cap to his brother just before the toss. Hardik recorded a video and posted it on Twitter, talking about the dream the brothers have shared and how proud he feels today.
