Normality resumed as India took the Windies to the cleaners in the fourth ODI at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.
After a rapid start by Shikhar Dhawan (38) and Rohit Sharma adding 71 runs in 11 overs, as Virat Kohli chose to bat first after winning the toss; India kept the momentum going throughout their innings. Virat Kohli fell early for 16, but then Rayudu and Rohit brought down carnage upon Windies bowlers.
They added 211 runs for the 3rd wicket with Rohit making his 7th score of 150 plus, making 162 in 137 balls with 20 fours and 4 sixes. Rayudu assisted him well with a score of 100 off 81 balls with 4 sixes and 8 fours. Dhoni played a cameo of 23 and India ended up on 377/5 with 15 runs off the last over. Rohit was particularly savage on bowlers and upped the ante after reaching his century in 98 balls. He became only the second batsman to hit two scores of over 150 in a single series, after Zimbabwe's Hamilton Masakadza.
Rayudu too decided to deal in boundaries instead of running and the duo left Jason Holder scratching his head as his bowlers leaked runs everywhere. Kemar Roach picked two wickets for 74 runs, while Nurse and Paul picked one each.
Twitter was left in shock after the assault by the Rohit-Rayudu combination on the Windies bowlers and they lauded their efforts.

Rohit Sharma is class. But feel delighted for Ambati Rayudu. He has a fantastic record and unless something drastic happens, he should be the No.4 that India have been experimenting with, for the World Cup #IndvWI

Good intent from India today. Nice collective effort with the bat. Rohit Sharma was a treat to watch as he always is when in full flow but a very important 100 for @RayuduAmbati and feel happy for him #IndvWI
