IND v WI 2018: Virender Sehwag hopes India learns from Pune defeat; hopes issues will be resolved

India won the first ODI, tied the second and lost the third to Windies.

India lost the 3rd ODI by 43 runs | File Photo APWest Indies squared the series against India 1-1 after a thumping 43-run victory over Virat Kohli and his team. Shai Hope with his 95 and Ashley Nurse’s late order hitting and a couple of important wickets helped Windies overcome Kohli’s 38th ODI century.

Kohli was scoring at a run-a-ball but kept losing partners in the chase and when MS Dhoni departed for 7 runs, it looked all over for India.

Keeping the loss in Pune in mind, Virender Sehwag tweeted that Kohli and co. needs to work on some issues, as three matches have yielded three different results. Sehwag's tweet read "Match 3, results 3 bhinn. Wonderful effort from West Indies to win one and tie one despite Kohli’s formidable centuries. India need to sort out a few things and hope they take positive learnings from this loss. #IndvWI".

The major seemed to be India’s bowling as Windies scored back to back scores of 300 plus, as Bhuvneshwar Kumar went for 70 runs in his 10 overs and Khaleel Ahmed also going for plenty. Yuzvendra Chahal looked pale form of himself, as he was taken to the cleaners.

India plays the fourth ODI against Windies in Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on Monday (October 28) followed by the fifth ODI on November 1 in Thiruvananthapuram.
