IND v WI 2018: MS Dhoni 'The King' inspects pitch before second ODI at Vizag

The 328-ODI veteran MS Dhoni has a lot to offer when it comes to his experience. No doubt India is using his understanding for the game really wisely. From guiding the youngsters to chipping in his precious advice to the skipper, Dhoni has continued to make subtle contributions to the game for his team.

When India landed in Visakhapatnam, Dhoni stepped into the ground and went straight to the uncovered pitch to read it with his mastery.

BCCI tweeted the picture of Dhoni and wrote, ”The KING is here! This ground and the city of Visakhapatnam has a special bond. Memories aplenty. Let’s create plenty more tomorrow.”

Apart from inspecting the pitch, Dhoni was also seen having a chat with groundsmen.

This is the same venue where Dhoni played the fifth ODI of his international career which played a big role in turning his career toward the right path. Back in 2005, the Jharkhand cricketer scored 148 off 123 which included 15 fours and four sixes here.

In four innings Dhoni batted here, he has scored 240 runs with an average of 80 and a strike rate of 107.62. Fans would be expecting him to maintain this record, especially the strike rate which hasn't pleased his admirers lately.
