Virat Kohli's 140 runs off just 107 balls and his 246 runs partnership with Rohit Sharma (152*) helped India to register a convincing win against West Indies in the first ODI at Guwahati.

It was Kohli's first ODI after more three months and he came to bat when India had lost Shikhar Dhawan in the second over of their innings and were in little bit trouble but Virat Kohli looked set from the first ball he faced and went to smash West Indies' bowlers all over the park and brought up his 36th ODI ton in just 88 balls and eventually he finished with 140 runs and helped his team to take a 1-0 lead in the five ODIs series.
