Michael Vaughan, former England skipper and cricket commentator, was in awe of Virat Kohli’s aggressive batting show in Guwahati after his aggressive knock guided India to an emphatic eight-wicket win over West Indies in the first One Day International on Sunday (October 21).

The dashing right-hander made the day of his fans with his sizzling batting performance in the series opener, as the Indian skipper hammered his 36th ODI ton laced with 21 fours and two sixes here.

Kohli notched up his 36th ODI century (140 off 107 balls) in a matter of only 55 deliveries and opener Rohit Sharma's outstanding 152* off 117 (15 fours and 8 sixes), as well as, stitched a record 246-run stand to help the hosts to chase the target of 323 easily within the 43rd over against the Windies.

His dominance fantastically continues this year, as the 29-year-old has had a spectacular year of international cricket –2018, the skipper is scoring runs in all parts of the world across the formats and proved himself as the greatest cricketer of the modern generation, as Kohli has scored a tally of 889 runs in just 10 ODI matches this year.

Kohli adjudged the Man of the Match trophy for his fantastic show with the bat against the West Indies and Vaughan could not hold himself from hailing the Indian batting superman as the Greatest of All Time (G.O.A.T) on the social media after watching another masterclass from the star batsman.
