India defeated West Indies in two Tests series and now both teams will face off each other in the five-match ODI series that starts from 21 October in Guwahati and ends in Thiruvananthapuram on 1 November.

This ODI series is a good opportunity for a few Indian players like Mohammad Shami, Ambati Rayudu, Manish Pandey etc to seal their spot for next year's World Cup.

Virat Kohli who was rested for Asia Cup will lead India again. On the other hand, West Indies will miss their star openers Chris Gayle and Evin Lewis who opted out from this series due to personal reasons. Though West Indies have some exciting young players like Shimron Hetmyer, Fabian Allen and hopefully this young team will put up a good fight after a disappointing performance in the two Tests series. And here are a few milestones which could be achieved during this five-match ODI series.
