India wrapped up a dominating 2-0 series victory against West Indies with a 10-wicket thrashing in the Hyderabad Test. Not many would have predicted a day three finish at the start of play but things moved quickly as bowlers enjoyed the conditions on offer.

India began the day at 308/4 just three runs behind the visitors and were looking for a big lead, but West Indies quicks Jason Holder and Shannon Gabriel bowled brilliantly to pick up the last six wickets for just 59 runs. Ajinkya Rahane fell for 80, while Rishabh Pant for the second consecutive time missed out on a century to be out for 92. Holder finished with 5/56, his third successive five-wicket haul in Tests.

India took a lead of 56 runs and made it count by dismissing the Windies openers for ducks to snatch back the momentum. The inexperienced side never really recovered and were shot out for 127 with Umesh Yadav picking up four wickets to complete his first ten-wicket match haul in Test cricket. Ravindra Jadeja took three wickets.

India chasing 72 for a win, completed the formalities for the loss of no wickets as Prithvi Shaw and KL Rahul batted positively to ensure the match didn't drag into the fourth day. India wrapped up the game by taking the extra half-hour and Shaw hit the winning runs in his debut series.

Cricket fraternity applauded the efforts of Umesh Yadav and Team India. We have put up some of the tweets for you:
