West Indies suffered one of their worst defeats in Tests by an innings and 272 runs at the hands of the Indian team at Rajkot in the first Test of the two-match series.
As India piled up 649/9d with centuries from Kohli, Jadeja and debutant Shaw; Windies batting looked hapless in both innings. They scored 181 in the first innings with Roston Chase making 53 and then 196 in second with Kieran Powell making 83. None of the other batsmen applied themselves and got out attempting glory over patience.
Their performance led to India spinner Harbhajan Singh tweeting out a criticism filled tweet, saying “With all due respect to West Indies Cricket but I have a question for u all…will this west Indies team qualify for Ranji quarters from the plate group? Elite se to nahin hoga ???? #INDvsWI”

However, this didn’t go well with one of the former West Indian fast bowlers and one of the most interesting characters in cricket, Tino Best. Known for his acid wit, Best reminded Harbhajan of something not in so distant past and put him in his place.
Best tweeted to Harbhajan saying, “Hey bro didn’t see these cocky tweets vs England …. but anyhow the young men will learn”
