Arnold tried to take a jibe at West Indies after India defeated them by an innings.

West Indies couldn't stand the heat against India in Rajkot as Indian bowlers ran through their batting lineup in three days time.

The visitors were made to follow-on after being dismissed for 181 in first innings in reply to India's 649/9d. They didn't fare much better in second innings and were bowled out for 196 and India won the game by an innings and 272 runs. It was India's biggest Test win with the margin of runs.

Former Sri Lankan cricketer, now a commentator, Russel Arnold tried to be cheeky after West Indies' poor show in Rajkot. Arnold wrote he is searching for the channel which is telecasting India vs West Indies Test and he couldn't find it. He added a question after it and asked if the game over already, trying to be sarcastic.

"Can’t find the Test on any channels? Is it over ?? Don’t tell me the Windies have done it ????," Arnold's tweet read.

Indian cricket fans didn't take the dig lightly and reminded Arnold of Sri Lanka's early exit in recently concluded Asia Cup 2018.

Here is how fans reacted:
