Virat Kohli hit 139 runs | AFP India is dominating the West Indies in the first Test of the two-match series at Rajkot.

Prithvi Shaw struck a scintillating century on debut on Day One and Cheteshwar Pujara hit a good looking 86 before getting out to a nothing shot. However, after a cameo from Rahane, Rishabh Pant came out to bat on his birthday on day one and joined captain Kohli in a wonderful partnership.

On day two, Kohli himself was looking solid at one end and Pant started blasting the Windies bowlers to all parts of SCA stadium. Pant reached his 50 in 57 balls. Kohli in meantime, reached his 24th Test hundred in 184 balls. The duo added 133 runs for the 5th wicket. Pant had reached 92 runs (8 fours and 4 sixes) when he went for another six, but was fooled by a googly from Bishoo and skied a catch to Keemo Paul.

Rishabh Pant entertained the crowd to maximum | AFPKohli played well for 139 runs off 230 balls with 10 fours, before he gave a catch to Bishoo off Sherman Lewis.
