India are in a strong position in the first Test match against West Indies in Rajkot as the number one ranked side posted 364/4 on the first day and are looking good for a big score. The star of the day was debutant Prithvi Shaw who scored 134 runs off just 154 balls and became the youngest Indian player to score a hundred on Test debut.

The 18-year old opener added 206 runs with Cheteshwar Pujara (86) for the second wicket after the early loss of KL Rahul and put India in a strong position. Captain Virat Kohli (72*) and Rishabh Pant (17*) are at the crease and will look to post a big total on the board.

3 - Prithvi Shaw became the third player ever to score a hundred on Test as well as on first-class debut. Shaw scored 120 on his first-class debut against Tamil Nadu last year at the same venue (Rajkot).
