Indian cricket team has reached Rajkot for their first Test against West Indies which will be starting on October 4. The Indian men will play two Test matches against the Jason Holder led WI side. The series is going to be a real test for the visitors as beating India in their own backyard is a tough task.

Ahead of the first Test against India, the Windies coach Stuart Law has admitted that beating India won't be easy. "India is the number one side, we are further down the ladder (at 8). We are playing in their own backyard, it is a huge task. Not many teams have come here and won. We understand that but on the flip side we are getting better and better," Law said.

Here is the video of how the players arrived at Rajkot for the 1st Test:

The last time the Windies won a Test series against India was at home in 2002. Since then, the Windies has lost six straight series against India.

West Indies won't have their lead pacer Kemar Roach for the first game. He had to fly back to Barbados after the death of his grandmother.

Here is the India test squad:
KL Rahul, Ajinkya Rahane, Kuldeep Yadav, Mayank Agarwal, Hanuma Vihari, Mohammad Shami, Prithvi Shaw, Rishabh Pant (W), Umesh Yadav, Cheteshwar Pujara, R Ashwin, Mohammed Siraj, Virat Kohli (C), Ravindra Jadeja, Shardul Thakur
