Vijay was dropped after his pair in the Lord's Test against England and wasn't picked for the Windies series.

Indian opener Murali Vijay might have been hopeful of a place back in India's Test side after his eye-grabbing performance for Essex in English county championship. He scored three half-centuries and one hundred in five innings he played. His scores were 80, 2, 85, 56, and 100.

But after a poor show in Test series against England, the 34-year-old failed to get a place in the Test side against West Indies.

Nevertheless, he isn't thinking about it much suggested his last Instagram post. As chilled as ever, famously known as 'the monk', shared a selfie of him on Instagram and captioned it, "Just live this moment without ?? #moretolife #lovetoall ✌????."

Vijay isn't away from cricket, he has been added to Tamil Nadu’s squad for the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy.
