When team India was three down on 39 runs at Ranchi, none were expecting them to reach a stage where declaration would come into play. All thanks to Rohit Sharma's maiden double ton, Ajinkya Rahane's hundred after a long time at home, and a half-century by Ravindra Jadeja, India declared their innings at 497/9.

There were some delightful moments in India's first innings which lasted almost two days for the third Test. If one wants to know how good India batted, they should look at India's skipper Virat Kohli's reactions at different times of India's innings.

BCCI's official Instagram account posted a video where they showed '50 shades of Kohli'. Virat was absolutely delighted when Jadeja reached his fifty. Later, when India approached the end of their innings, Umesh Yadav smashed five sixes in ten balls he faced. He ended up with a 10-ball 31 runs innings.

Umesh's hits left Kohli and the whole team amused. It was a treat to watch the Indian tailender smashing sixes and Virat enjoying it wholeheartedly. The fun didn't stop here. After Umesh's dismissal, Mohammad Shami came in to bat and even he went for a big hit.

The maximum made Kohli laugh. He must be wondering what happened to the Indian tail? They were having a fun time in the middle with spinner assigned to bowl against them.

Kohli declared the innings after getting enough on the board, 497/9. He waved at the team and called them back. Unfortunately, only five overs were possible for South Africa before stumps. They lost two wickets in just 9 runs in 5 overs bowled.

Here is the reaction of Kohli on different moments:
