India clinched their 11th consecutive Test series at home after beating South Africa by an innings and 137 runs in the second Test in Pune. India is leading 2-0 in the series with one match to go.
Earlier India posted 601/5d on the board with the help of captain Virat Kohli's 254*, Mayank Agarwals 108 and fifties from Ravindra Jadeja, Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara each. In reply, South Africa could manage only 275 runs in their first innings and was forced to follow on by India.
But once again South African batsmen disappointed and entire team bowled out for 189 runs and suffered a big loss. Virat Kohli was named Man of the Match for his 254* runs knock.
