Temba Bavuma had no idea he will be at the receiving end of his three-year-old wish in such a brutal way. The South Africa cricketer had tweeted about how pleasant it is to watch Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane bat together. Well, he got to witness it live at Pune. We are sure he certainly wasn't expecting it.

"Kohli & Rahane could watch these guys bat all day #masterclass #indvsnz," his tweet from 2016 read. It was posted during India vs New Zealand series. The tweet went viral as soon as Kohli and Rahane put up a 178-run stand for the fourth wicket in Pune on Friday. 

Kohli scored an unbeaten double hundred, 254* while Rahane was dismissed on 59 after facing 168 deliveries in the first innings of the second Test.

Talking about Bavuma's old tweet, it was posted during the 3rd Test between India and New Zealand which was played from October 8. Kohli and Rahane had added 365 runs together for the fourth wicket. Kohli scored 211 while Rahane just fell short of a double century at 188.
