Team India continued having upper hand in the game on the second day of the Pune Test. After piling up a mountain of runs, 601/5, India declared and invited South Africa to bat the last 15 overs.

The Indian batters tired the visitors after making them field for two days. South Africa openers had a tough ask to survive 15 overs and go to the third day with all ten wickets. But it didn't happen as they lost Aiden Markram on the second ball of the second over bowled by Umesh Yadav.

Markram had to walk back on a duck. Another opener felt his pain, but not from South Africa. Abhinav Mukund tweeted for Markram and said he feels his pain. Getting out on the second ball after fielding for over 600 runs over two days in harsh conditions is a nightmare of any opener.

India managed to dismiss three South African batsmen at the end of the second day's play. Indian captain Virat Kohli became the first Indian to smash seven double hundreds in Test cricket. He also reached the landmark of 7,000 Test runs.
