Team India completely dominated the Proteas on the second day of this second Test at Pune. The Indian skipper was at his best with the bat in his hand as he scored his career-best score of 254* off 336 deliveries which included 33 boundaries and 2 maximums.

This was Kohli’s 7th double century in Test cricket, most by any Indian batsman and with this double ton, he also surpassed legendary sir Don Bradman by scoring over 7000 Test runs.

While everyone was praising the right-handed batsman for this amazing feat, Bollywood actress and his wife Anushka Sharma uploaded a photo of Indian skipper celebrating his 7th double century at Pune to her Instagram story and added red heart emojis above his picture.

After declaring on 601/5, the Indian pacers provided a fantastic start as they sent South Africa’s top order (Markram, Elgar and Bavuma) packing and the visitors found themselves at 36/3 with Theunis de Bruyn batting on 20*(38) and night watchman Anrich Nortje batting on 2*(22) at the crease.

Thus, it will be interesting to see how the South African batsmen survive against this Indian bowling attack tomorrow (12 October).
