IND v SA 2019: COC Predicted Playing XI for Team India in the 3rd T20I at Bengaluru

India leads the series 1-0 after win in Chandigarh T20I.

Virat Kohli slammed a wonderful unbeaten half-century to take India home in Chandigarh | AFPThe third T20I of the three-match series will be played at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru and will be a chance for the visiting South African team to win it and equal the series which India leads 1-0. The first match was rained out in Dharamsala, while Men in Blue won the second in Mohali.

The ground is practically a home ground for Virat Kohli, given that he has played for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL since 2008 on this very ground and knows it like the back of his hand. Keeping this in mind and how small the ground is, Team COC presents to you the Predicted Team India Playing XI for the 3rd T20I.

Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan are most likely to keep their places at the top given that Rohit looked good in his short innings in Chandigarh, while Dhawan showed signs of returning to form in his 40, which was cut short thanks to a great catch. Kohli will lead Team India in Bengaluru, a ground he loves to play on.

Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant are expected to retain their places, despite the penchant of Delhi keeper-batsman to throw his wicket away. Iyer didn’t get much chance but scored 16* runs in Mohali T20I. The all-rounders Pandya brothers and Ravindra Jadeja did nothing wrong in the second T20I and might be seen plying their trade in Bengaluru as well. It was the first match after a long time for Hardik and despite some rustiness, he looked fitter than before.

Deepak Chahar and Washington Sundar were the pick of bowlers for India | AFPWashington Sundar and Navdeep Saini play for RCB in IPL at the same ground and Sundar was amazing with the new ball in Chandigarh, economical and looked threatening as well. Saini had an off day but bounced back with a wicket.

Deepak Chahar has risen as a hero for the team in this shorter format thanks to his ability to swing the ball at a genuinely quick pace at the start and has the top order jumping and swatting at his deliveries and is expected to do the same in the third match as well.

The third T20I match at Bengaluru will be played on 22nd September, Sunday and will begin from 7 PM IST.

COC Predicted Team India Playing XI:
Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli (C), Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant (WK), Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Krunal Pandya, Washington Sundar, Deepak Chahar, Navdeep Saini
