Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah, who is not available for the fourth Test and the five-match T20I series against England, is also expected to be out of the three-match ODI series as well.

Bumrah deemed himself unavailable for the fourth Test against England citing 'personal reasons'. He has also been rested from the five-match T20I series. While all these 6 matches are scheduled to be in his home city of Ahmedabad, the 27-year-old will not be participating in any of them.

Cricbuzz has now reported that Bumrah is expected to miss the three-match ODI series as well, that starts on March 23 in Pune.

In another blow to the Indian limited-overs teams, Tamil Nadu and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) spinner Varun Chakravarthy and an unnamed player have failed the fitness test.

Varun Chakravarthy, who missed out on a spot in the T20I squad against Australia due to a shoulder injury, is on the verge of missing the T20I series against England as well.

BCCI has confirmed that the KKR spinner failed to attain the required 17.1 mark on the Yo-Yo test conducted at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. He has been sent to Mumbai to play practice matches after spending three months at the NCA.

According to Cricbuzz, one more player from the Indian T20I squad against England has failed the fitness test and is set to miss out on the spot. The process to undergo another Yo-Yo test after completing the improvement task will require more time than what is available.
