Day-night Test cricket made its debut in Adelaide in November 2015 and Australia-New Zealand were the first two teams to play it and over the years Pakistan, West Indies, Sri Lanka, England, and South Africa too have made their debuts in this format.

And now the number one ranked Test side India is also set to make their debut in this format against Bangladesh in Kolkata this week. Australia has been the most successful team in day-night Test cricket and teams like New Zealand and England too have done well.
