Team India continued their dominance in red-ball cricket as they thrashed Bangladesh by an innings and 130 runs in the first Test at Indore.
Since the series opener got over in just three days, the No.1 Test side extended their stay at Indore by two days and had an intense practice session under lights on Sunday (November 17) for their maiden Day-Night Test against Bangladesh at the iconic Eden Gardens from November 22.
Captain Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and the pace trio of Mohammad Shami, Umesh Yadav and Ishant Yadav skipped training while some of the prominent team members practiced with the pink-ball on the centre wicket at Holkar Stadium.
Double centurion of the first Test Mayank Agarwal and wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha also missed the training.
Cheteshwar Pujara, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja were the leading names to have featured in the practice session alongside youngsters such as Rishabh Pant, Hanuma Vihari, Shubman Gill and Kuldeep Yadav.
