The Indian team had cemented their place as the no.1 team on the ICC rankings and it will be a tough task for the Bangladesh team to topple them in India given that they are missing Shakib-Al-Hasan and Tamim Iqbal from their squad.

Meanwhile, Team COC presents to you the Predicted Team India Playing XI for the first Test in Indore.

IND v BAN 2019: India set to train under lights in Indore to prepare for D/N Test in Kolkata

Rohit Sharma had an excellent first Test series as an opener against South Africa with two centuries and a double ton to his name and he is slated to continue his magic at the top. Along with him, Mayank Agarwal is expected to continue his good form which he showed against South Africa, where he scored a ton and a double ton.

Skipper Virat Kohli also had a nice time against Proteas and will look to carry it against Bangladesh, given that he had scored a double ton the last time Tigers played India in a Test in India. Cheteshwar Pujara had a lukewarm time with the bat but this Bangladesh series might be a good time for him to get his lost form back. Ajinkya Rahane has also regained form in the West Indies and South Africa Test series and against Bangladesh, it might be his chance to lead from the front and make runs by buckets.

Wriddhiman Saha was amazing with the gloves behind the stumps given that he was preferred over Rishabh Pant and did a brilliant job. If he gets a chance with the bat, he might want to make the most of the opportunity. R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja are expected to keep their places in the XI and given that both have done their work with the ball against South Africa and Jadeja’s excellent returns with the bat as well have made the home team a more formidable one.

Given the nature of the Indore surface, it is sufficient to presume that India will go in with three quick bowlers in Mohammad Shami and Umesh Yadav being the first two choices. The third seamer might be Ishant Sharma, who missed out on the last two Tests against South Africa. Indian team knows that the Bangladesh team is a very dangerous one and will not want to let their guard down.

COC Predicted Team India Playing XI for the Indore Test:
Rohit Sharma, Mayank Agarwal, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli (C), Ajinkya Rahane, Wriddhiman Saha (WK), Ravindra Jadeja, R Ashwin, Ishant Sharma, Mohammad Shami, Umesh Yadav
