India beat Bangladesh by 30 runs in the third and final T20I in Nagpur yesterday and clinched the three-match T20I series by 2-1.

Earlier Bangladesh won the toss and asked India to bat first and Shaiful Islam provided them a good start by removing Rohit Sharma for 2 runs and Shikhar Dhawan for 19 runs. KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer rebuilt the innings and both the batsmen also brought up their fifties and their knocks of 52 and 62 runs respectively helped India to post a good total 174/5 on the board.

In reply, Bangladesh also had a poor start and lost Liton Das and Soumya Sarkar cheaply and at 12/2 they're in trouble but Mohammad Naim's counter-attacking innings brought his team back into the game. He and Mithun took the score to over 100 runs and set the match for a tight finish. Deepak Chahar broke this stand by removing Mithun and in the next over Shivam Dube dismissed Rahim for a first-ball duck and after that Bangladesh collapsed and lost the next 6 wickets for just 18 runs and team bowled out for 144 runs. Deepak Chahar took record-breaking 6 wickets for just 7 runs and was named Man of the Match as well as Series.
