Yuzvendra Chahal outfoxed Bangladesh opener Liton Das with a beautifully flighted leg-spinner that turned enough and gave India wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant an easy stumping chance in the second T20I in Rajkot on Thursday (November 7). 

However, moments later Das could resume his innings as first the leg-umpire and then the third umpire spotted that Pant had illegally collected the ball just a bit in front of the stumps before dislodging the bails.

To further put salt on to his wounds, Chahal was then struck for two back to back boundaries. But after the game, as he recovered to finish with figures of 2/28 in India's eight-wicket win, the veteran cricketer admirably said he holds no "hard feelings" for the youngster. 

"We are team players, even I drop catches sometimes, so no one wants to miss a catch or stumping, so no hard feelings with Pant. Just hard luck," he was quoted as saying by ESPNcricinfo. 

Chahal has been India's best bowler this series; noticeably mixing it up nicely with googlies, and adjusting his line, length as well as trajectory according to the conditions in both Delhi and Rajkot where dew also played its part. 

"When I bowled my first ball, I realised that it's spinning. You have to vary your pace here. When I was not part of the India team, I was practicing with the wet ball, so dew didn't affect me. Knew where to ball," he said. 

"My bowling depends on what I think the batsman is trying to do. Depending on that I bowl the topspinner, googly or slider. Bowling in the death or powerplay gives you more confidence," Chahal added. 

Off-spinner Washington Sundar (1/25) also bowled very well on the day as India restricted Bangladesh to just 153/6 before captain Rohit Sharma made an outstanding 43-ball 85 to put an early end to the proceedings.
