India cricket team's Strength and Conditioning coach, Nick Webb presented a new challenge for India cricketers to test their fitness. In the video posted by BCCI.tv, Indian cricketers can be seen sweating it out in the gym before Nick picked KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer for a challenge.
Iyer and Rahul were asked to do the rope challenge. Shreyas won the challenge by doing the exercise for 50 times, while KL could only do the task for 45 times.
Both the cricketers are part of India's T20 squad which is competing against Bangladesh. They are currently one down with two more matches to be played. Iyer and Rahul both got a start in the first T20I but they couldn't capitalize on it. In fact, Shreyas was looking in superb touch although he was caught in extra cover trying to hit one for six.
India and Bangladesh will be in action again on Thursday at Rajkot.
