Team India are all set to begin their home series against Bangladesh with the first T20I in Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday (November 3).

On the eve of the match, Indian players had an intense practice session, where a 19-year-old Keshav Dabas got the better of senior team’s premier batsmen with ferocious deliveries.

The youngster dismissed stand-in skipper Rohit Sharma and then knocked over left-handed opener Shikhar Dhawan.

Speaking to Hindustan Times, Keshav was running out of words to express his feelings.

“It’s a great feeling… Ab kya bolu samajh nei aa raha,” he said.

As per the report, a good length delivery combined with some extra bounce took the outside edge of Rohit’s bat. The teenager was ecstatic for a moment as he raised his hands in the air. However, there was no reaction from him when he castled Dhawan.

Apparently, Keshav’s prowess in the nets also earned him praise from other seamers in the Indian camp.

“No, I did not hear the praise from Ravi Shastri sir but yes Shardul Thakur did ask me about my whereabouts,” he asserted.

This is not the first time Keshav Dabas has helped Indian players during the practice session. He was an official net bowler when Australia toured India earlier this year.
