IND v AUS 2020: COC Predicted Team India Playing XI for the second ODI at Rajkot

India lost the first ODI at Mumbai by 10 wickets defending 256-run target.

Kedar Jadhav might replace Rishabh Pant | APAfter a humiliating 10-wicket loss at Mumbai, the Indian team will travel to Rajkot for the second ODI against Australia, in order to equalize the series. The match will be played at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium and is a must-win for Men in Blue.

Most of the team is expected to remain the same as the first match, but Team COC presents to you the predicted playing XI for Team India for Rajkot ODI.

Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan are expected to open the innings. Though Rohit had got out early, Dhawan got his form back with a brilliant 74. KL Rahul continued his good outing with the bat making 47 but is expected to keep wickets here as well, as Rishabh Pant has been ruled out of the match due to concussion protocols.

IND v AUS 2020: Rishabh Pant ruled out of 2nd ODI; in doubt for third match as well

KL Rahul will continue to keep wickets for India | TwitterHowever, it remains to be seen who bats at no.3, Rahul or Kohli, as the skipper himself admitted that him batting at no.4 was a flop idea. Shreyas Iyer is expected to come into bat at no.5, with Kedar Jadhav backed to replace Pant in the lineup. It also gives India an extra bowling option, if needed in the middle overs. Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav tried their best to get a wicket as Warner and Finch were wreaking havoc and might be given another run in Rajkot as well.

Shardul Thakur, Mohammad Shami, and Jasprit Bumrah may get another crack at the Australian batting which routed the Indian bowling attack badly in the chase of 256 runs. This is a must-win match for India and the team management must look to field their best XI, instead of experimenting with the lineup.

COC Predicted Team India Playing XI:
Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli (C), KL Rahul (WK), Shreyas Iyer, Kedar Jadhav, Ravindra Jadeja, Shardul Thakur, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammad Shami, Jasprit Bumrah
