Afghanistan struggled in their debut Test against India at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Afghanistan was bowled out for 109 in their first innings on Day two and were asked to follow-on, as India’s first innings wrapped up at 474.

One of the best Afghan batsmen in Mohammad Shahzad is playing this game as a pure batsman, as Afsar Zazai is handling the keeping duties. He was expected to make a big impact in the game for Afghanistan, but in the first innings of his team, Shahzad was dismissed run out after scoring 14 runs which included three boundaries.

Shahzad had hit the ball to the off side and took off for the run and a direct hit from Pandya caught him short of the crease. The dismissal was a big one for Afghanistan who were banking on Shahzad to come good with the bat.

However, one of Shahzad’s teammates, Gulbadin Naib apparently found humor in the way Shahzad was run out, as he struggled to make the ground. Naib, who is not in the playing XI for this historic Test for his country took to Twitter and posted “Shazad run out ???????? lol #INDvAFG

However, his funny tweet on Shahzad dismissal didn’t go down with the cricket fans, who took offense to the inconsiderate tone of Naib’s tweet. They took Naib to the task and admonished him in the replies.
