Before the start of second day's play between Afghanistan and India, Afghan players were seen in their traditional dress on the occasion of Eid. Their sense of style was good to watch. The team celebrated the festival in the hotel and they offered namaz together.

The players, Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) chairman, Atif Mashal, and CEO, Shafiq Stanikzai had a grand breakfast, as per Sportstar live.

Mohammad Nabi, the Afghanistan all-rounder wished everyone and hoped for peace and joy. “I wish all the people Eid Mubarak. Hope there is peace and happiness,” Nabi said.

Players changed their dresses to Test outfits after reaching the ground, but the team manager Shir Agha Hamkar kept wearing the Pathan suit when the team practiced ahead of the game.

“The mood in the team is very good. We celebrated the festival together and that was a great thing before heading for the Test,” Hamkar told Sportstar.

The day, as it started, wasn't the same. Afghanistan was forced to follow-on by the Indian team after they were bowled out on just 109 runs. India, batting first, scored 474 runs in the first Innings.
